This site is dedicated to the memory of Alison Eadie.
Alison Eadie died on the 4th August 2004 aged 50 after a two year battle with MND. She was a talented journalist and a much loved wife, sister and mother with a passion for tennis, birdwatching and walking. Many remember her for her kindness and infectious laugh.

Thoughts
I am very late, finding this memorial page. As a teenager, I lived three doors from Alison and we played hundreds of hours of tennis at the Elms club, we even held hands a few times. I was so sad when I heard she had died. She was very beautiful.

I am thinking of the whole family today as you set off on your long walk. I have sent a donation as well to speed you on your way. I hope it's dry and midge-free! I look forward to hearing how it all went. No blisters stories please.

Linda and Charles have the fondest of memories of Alison and particularly remember her "competitive" table manners on our first meeting!We know she would be so proud of the family she left behind.
